Description

A young hospital security guard with a disturbingly unique taste in women. A maternity doctor with a horrifically unusual appetite. When the two of them meet, they embark on a journey of self-discovery while shattering societal norms and engaging in destructively aberrant behavior. As they unwittingly help each other understand a world in which neither seems to belong, they begin to realize what it truly means to be alive...And that it might not always a good thing.

it was okay a little too much at some points for my liking, didn’t really have a good plot but ehh. i just finished reading it cause i bought it :/ it’s something to read if you like gore and cheesy performative males that act hard idk tho just my honest opinion

For my first splatterpunk book I’ve read, I would say it was pretty decent. The gore was goring. The ending was pretty fierce and I kinda did guess that that was how it was gonna be during the bar scene. The main character def gave incel vibes and I would get annoyed when he kept saying the same things over and over again. But I will start saying “I have to check the monitors” as a vocal stim lol. Overall, it was good!
  • 10/10 definitely would read again!

Don't read if you don't want spoilersss! I loved to plot twist at the end when everything just suddenly clicked. At first I thought the random man from the bar who mentioned not being able laid by his wife was just like I said random and that it probably wouldn't come up again or that it was mentioned because of it being a part of that main characters experience while being drunk but nooo everything came together and finally connected at the end it felt like I had just solved a puzzle after finding the missing piece.
  • This was interesting

I’m not sure how I ended up reading this book, because I wasn’t looking for it. I feel like it just found me. I’m just happy I finished it. A good read if you have the stomach for it, and that means a lot coming from a scorpio.
  • Good if you like splatterpunk

One of the only books that has made me feel sick. If you like splatterpunk, this is for you, just not my cup of tea.

Definitely not for everyone, but god what an unexpectedly beautifully disgusting story. I finished a few months ago and it’s still on my mind.
  • I almost DNR this book!

OMG! This book had me on edge, I normally take 3 days to finish any book, because of work. But this book? I had to stop reading multiple times because I was so grossed out! I hope the author is ok and this is not reflecting anything. LOL
  • Wow.
