Little Black Sambo tells the story of an Indian boy who encounters four hungry tigers and gives up his clothes, shoes, and umbrella so they will not eat him. Sambo eventually recovers his clothes. The story was a children's favorite for half a century until the word "sambo" was deemed a racist term.
