I enjoyed this book that dealt with Satan in Hell. It gave a very explicit visualization of what the hell could be and probably is. It created a lot of thought. The better your understanding of the Bible and the prophecies that led to the book of revelations will help you to determine the various concepts in this book.

Notes would be nice, references to characters and what sources they come from, as well as analysis of themes and so on. Otherwise, a pleasant read.

Very interesting but also very strange. So many references to people, gods, etc that I know nothing about. Same with places and events. Much is unknowable. The torture and horror all seems to blend together. Difficult to ascertain which circle is really the worst. It's as if the only difference is perhaps the time these beings in hell have had to exist there. It actually became boring to me after the fifth circle.
I'm glad I finally read this story/poem, but I think the cliff notes may have sufficed. Haha

This version is more detailed than others I have read. And yet it's able to hold ur attention and also entertain the mind to foretell a detailed out look of the nine circles of hell to make u forget it's Dante where as you almost can relate and feel his emotion in all a classic remastered
