Description

Banned in America for almost thirty years because of its explicit sexual content, this companion volume to Miller’s Tropic of Cancer chronicles his life in 1920s New York City. Famous for its frank portrayal of life in Brooklyn’s ethnic neighborhoods and Miller’s outrageous sexual exploits, The Tropic of Capricorn is now considered a cornerstone of modern literature.

There is not one better that I have yet discovered to open up the hidden pathways of the artist's creative mind. Miller strains and stretches you with such grace that you might not even be aware the great doctor has been slowly inserting a twelve inch needle down into your veins. He probes and prods your inner depths in hopes of dusting up some trace of real blood life. Definitely worth a visit!
