The author inserts his comments [It’s a throne read at best.] in the middle of the actual content. Some are [The actual book is good, but avoid this particular translation at all costs. It’s more opinionated than anything and it just gives you bits of information so it’s hard to understand the story behind the reasons at times.] you forget what what being said in the first place, so you end up re-reading a lot of it.

[Bracketed commentary by the editor every other line—dude, you did not write this book, step back.] Completely unreadable. And I've read The Art of War before. It deserves better.

I really enjoyed this book and it only took me 90 minutes. It’s a easy read for many adults and teens but isn’t for everyone since it covers brutal war tactics.

Definitely something we can all find knowledge from, especially the idea of peace as the ultimate goal of any warfare.
