Description

Is it ever too late to leave the friend zone? Discover the heartwarming friends to lovers romance that became a sensation on TikTokā€”now with a new chapter and a Q&A with the author!

The friend zone is not the end zone for Bree Camden, who is helplessly in love with her longtime best friend and extremely hot NFL legend, Nathan Donelson. The only problem is that she canā€™t admit her true feelings, because he clearly sees her as a best friend with no romantic potential, and the last thing Bree wants is to ruin their relationship. But those abs . . .

Nope! Nothing but good old-fashioned, no-touching-the-sexiest-man-alive, platonic friendship for Bree. In any case, she has other things to worry about. After a car accident ended her chance at becoming a professional ballerina, Bree changed paths and now owns her own dance studio, with big dreams to expand it. But one more rent increase could mean the end of the studio entirely.

Then, as usual, Nathan comes to the rescue and buys the entire building. A stubborn Bree is not happy about it and decides to rebel with a coupleā€”okay, maybe more than a coupleā€”of tequila shots. Then her plan backfires as she spills her deepest, darkest secret to a TMZ reporter. One viral video later, the world thinks Nathan and Bree are the perfect couple. Before they can really talk about her confession, Nathanā€™s publicist proposes a big opportunity that could mean financial security for Bree. The catch? They have to pretend to be in love. For three whole weeks.

What will happen when Bree gives in to the feelings sheā€™s been desperately hiding for so long, and could she be imagining that Nathan is actually enjoying it? Sarah Adams scores more than touchdowns in this exciting romantic comedy.

The book was super cuteā€¦ definitely focused on friends to lover and hidden romance tropes. I really liked both characters and the history they built on. I especially liked that the bookā€™s pace made it easy to read and not hit a low spot.

It kept me engrossed, I finished it in about a day and a half! The scenes with the main girl and all of the guys reminded me a lot of New Girl, it was hilarious!! I am a person who tends to prefer spice, so warning this is pretty closed door compared to a lot of what I read but still a really good read!
  • SO SO GOOD

Decided to find a new sports troupe in honor of Travis Kelce being my new father (thank you Taylor Swift)! This book exceeded my expectations. I think my favorite part about it is that it didnā€™t have to rely on any spicy scenes to make it intense. It was sweet, sexy, funny, and emotional. Such a good read, finished in 1 day! I have the BIGGEST crush on Nathan now omg. Would love to get more in this series as I feel like thereā€™s a lot to explore with his other teammates. Genuinely so good I wish I could start overā€¦ actually thatā€™s what iā€™m gonna do!

Light easy read about a couple that have been friends since high school. They both know itā€™s more but are afraid to ruin their friendship. Worth reading for fun.

This book is so amazing! I felt so good reading it! This is, in my opinion, one of the best tropes there are and I have reread it so many times! The only thing is, I wish Sarah Adams would make a series! Getting to know what happened after or maybe something with their kids! I recommend you read this book!

Easy to read and get lost in. I love a novel with multiple perspectives and manageable chapters to keep you reeled in. I usually feel like romance novels can be cringey, but the way The Cheat Sheet is written takes that cringey feeling and makes it make sense. Feel good book to warm your heart.
