After reading the first few chapters, I gave up. There is virtually nothing that is believable from any of the characters or their actions. Not worth the time or effort

These books are about a Lenape tribal member from Pennsylvania orphaned at an early age and reared by her adored grandfather until hid death around age 8 when she was adopted by a young non-native couple and went to live in white suburbia. She became an attorney ultimately working in family law with a dip into criminal issues of indigenous people from there to tribal affairs. This has so far been a fascinating process to see how the author has progressed this series. I am unsure if the author has indigenous roots or where the research for the series originates but am finding the process interesting.
