Gotta give the author credit. The beginning of the book kept me reading but the characters were a little too dumb for me.

This novel moves from cover to cover. The main character is interesting, nuanced and compelling. The story is tight with many twists and turns. After reading a lot of heady and complicated works recently, this fun adventure was just what I needed.
  • Such a frustrating read

The main characters constant awful decisions really annoyed me. But then again, I guess that’s what the writer was trying to portray, following her messy thoughts wherever they do lead.
  • I’m confused

It took a little to get into, however, once it picked up I read for hours. It felt like it abruptly ended and I missed something. I reread the last paragraph a few times and feel like it didn’t make sense, it literally fell off a cliff at the end with so many unanswered questions
  • Terrible

I thought this was a good book. It kept me guessing. Unfortunately it didn’t seem to answer anything in the end. Felt left wide opened. Maybe there will be a sequel. Otherwise I enjoyed it.

Overall fantastic book! A few minor questions unanswered at the end, but this book was hard to put down once they “found what was in the water” - very well thought-out!
