Married for His Secret Heir Jennifer Faye I love friends to lovers books. Though this one seemed to be friends to not friends anymore. I had to keep reading to see if Elena, who feels she was always on the outside growing up, can overcome her issues before she looses Luca all together. One night stands can have many consequences that can change your life forever. Jennifer Faye once again has created characters you can believe in and root for. Another 5+ Book. I received an ARC and voluntarily read and reviewed it.

A sweet friends to lovers story! This is the second part of the Mirraccino Marriages duet and is Luca DiSalvo's story. We met his sister Annabelle in the first half of the duet. The characters are fun and the plot is thick with tension. I read both books, so I understood the undertone of hearing about his Mother's story ... but if I was reading this as a stand-alone, I would have felt slighted in not getting more details of what had happened all those years ago. Elena Ricci chased her dreams to Paris and is now an accomplished model. When her childhood friend Luca DiSalvo shows up with news from home on the night of a big modeling show, he whisks here off in a celebration of her accomplishments. The lasting effects from that night will change their life forever! Luca DiSalvo, Earl of Halencia, distanced himself from life long ago, but when he learns Elena is carrying his baby, he can't stay removed and in the background any longer. He offers to marry Elena and though she wishes it was for different reasons, she agrees to a secret wedding. Will a baby be able to keep them together when they are hiding how they really feel about each other?

A very enjoyable that picks up the story of the DiSalvo family where The Millionaire's Royal Rescueleft us. This is Luca's story. Grief ridden after the death of his mother, Luca has secluded himself away from family. After one blissful night in Paris with his long time friend Elena Ricci his whole world is turned upside down again! A fantastic read that can be enjoyed whether you've read book 1 or not. I recommend it!
