It’s been described as a curiosity, an infatuation and then a passing fancy. Yet it started with a bang and has yet to fizzle, even though its death has been predicted more than a few times. The media can’t comprehend it and the GOP Establishment are equally obtuse to its existence, but this movement is real and it’s growing. I can assure you.
They call you angry, bitter, and even racist for supporting a man they can’t begin to understand. They’d have you believe that you’ve being duped, that you’re merely a low-information voter and you don’t have a clue what’s in your own best interest.
They’d have you believe that your faith is misplaced, that Donald Trump will fade away any day now, forgotten like yesterday’s old newspaper. But what I see is something else entirely.
Donald Trump began this journey with hope in his heart and a dream for a better America. It took great courage to step on that stage but he did it because he believes in each and every one of us, The American People.
I have spoken to many Trump supporters and I've been to the rallies. I see the excitement on their faces and the sparkle in their eyes. I have seen many thousands of people willing to waste half their day waiting in a line, sometimes in less than desirable conditions, just to get inside the venue. Those die-hard Trump supporters lucky enough to make it inside don’t seem to mind having their personal space invaded by strangers, as long as they get to see Donald Trump speak.
In Donald Trump, the people see truth, determination and the ability to make our nation great. They see a man who will put a stake in the heart of Political Correctness, freeing our country to live and breath once again. They see a man they trust and it doesn’t matter what he does or what he says, his supporters will always forgive him. They are loyal to the end and they intend to have a new president.
They demand Donald J. Trump because they know that with Trump on their side, the American Dream is possible once again.
