I felt like this story could have had more depth and not feel so rushed towards the middle and end.

This book is amazing! She is such a great author! You get completely sucked in to every book she writes! This book allows you to see into Kiro's life and why he acts the way he does! If you want a good book series read the rosemary beach series! AMAZING!

A short story where we get to read how Rush and Harlow were created. I love the introduction of these two favorite characters from the beginning. I was not a fan of Kiro and his obsession with Emily. But it was interesting to read their journey from the beginning. Kiro is treating her vagina like a favorite stuffed animal. Way too possessive. Kiro's smothering Emily. Kiro is coddling her too much. Kiro made me nervous. I thought he bordered along the lines of controlling with his constant use of the word "mine". I did like meeting Dean and Rush. This was an unexpected treat. Rush as a baby was so sweet. I had not realized the amount of love Dean expressed from reading the Too Far Series so this was an enlightening new revelation.

I cried for the majority of this book because I knew what was coming. In fact, after finishing it, I'm still kind of crying. I really hated Kiro in the other books, but his story is beautiful and heartbreaking and now I kind of love him. It's wasn't easy to read this book when I knew what would happen in the end, but it was so worth it. This is probably one of my favorites now, and that's saying a lot.

I love all of Abbi Glines books but this novela holds pure magic. This is the one that stays with, makes you warm, breaks your heart while making you smile. A perfectly imperfect love...

Getting to read this story allows us to see Kiro in another light, it's amazing to see how much he loved his angel... It gives a back story to every Rosemary Beach series.. I still don't want to believe that Kiro is Nan's dad but hey what can we do.. Back to this story, well it just melts my heart <3

My only complaint is that it ended so soon! I love the Rosemary Beach Novella and I’m so glad we got to see a peak of the real Kiro…hopefully we can get more in Reese and Mase’s story.

Rushed, quick storyline allowed for very little character development. Had high hopes based on the storyline but in the end nothing came out of her shyness or his possessiveness. Overall disappointing. This could have been a truly moving and excellent story if the characters had been more fully fleshed out.

Cute quick read. Rushed and writer threw way too much at the end. Could have left the last chapter out or writer should have expanded on it so much more to make this a beautiful story. To the writer: you gave a great outline of a Story, don't rush it! Expand and detail more and you'll have fans that will afore you!!
