  • Caden and Bella

    By Xiaguan2014
Dating and trying fall in love is hard….. even more so for a single dad. Bella is once burned twice shy and so is Caden plus he has a teenage son. Together they fall hard and fast, make mistakes and make up! The narration is fabulous and really makes the story come alive. I sort of felt like I was listening to my friends fall in love.

  • Take me to Cape Cod!

    By Pattyfgd
Time to fall in love! Cape Cod is one of my favorite vacation spots. It’s beautiful and each time I listen to a Melissa Foster book set there, I can easily see the story unfold. Bella has come back, only this time she is here to stay. She has quit her job and has come home to start over. Bella is a bit stand offish, burnt by her previous relationship, she is hard for me to like for a time. I admire her new route in life, but just want to push her along a little! Arriving, she pulls fast one and is introduced to Officer Caden Grant! Caden is an awesome character. Single dad to teenager Evan, he is the best dad, and I love his entire demeanor. He is just easy to fall for. This is where our romance starts. It’s sweet, it’s frustrating and I absolutely loved it! Evan is a great addition as well. As a parent, I love to have older kids involved in the stories. It gives a different perspective to us as the parents face difficult situations. I loved every minute of this and can’t wait to see what else Foster has in store for us with this new part of the Love in Bloom series. This was my first listen by BJ Harrison, and I really enjoyed his performance. He has a pleasant voice, great pace and was easy to distinguish between characters. I look forward to hearing more from him.
  • Caden and Bella

Caden is new to the Wellfleet Police department. While patrolling one night, he comes upon a scene so funny he couldn’t help but stop. This is his introduction to Bella, one of the Seaside girls, at the Cape for the summer – or longer! While Caden and his teenage son, Evan, enjoy their new home and getting to know the seaside gang, Bella wrestles with the big question of what does she want to do with her life now. Attraction, love, family – they grow and are demanding. Melissa Foster has built a world where life happens, love happens, and certain people end up in funny or sizzling situations on a somewhat regular basis. A fun read with lots of steam, too. I read this story a while back, but just listened to the audiobook. I thoroughly enjoyed it! BJ Harrison does a great job as narrator – the characters come alive and the story is so good. There are lots of laugh-out-loud moments with some seriousness thrown in, and a good bit of steam. Totally worth the second telling. Hearing the story from someone else is so different from reading it. I love to read, and yet this story was so good as an audio. Give it a try!

  • Really boring

I didn't capture my attention. Took me a long time to read it and Skipped few pages. Nothing interesting happens. Characters are boring. Don't waist your time reading this.
  • Boring

I've liked several of Melissa Foster's books. This one, on the other hand, was weak. The characters were boring, the dialogue was weak. After reading 1/2, I gave up reading it.
