Four years ago, Mackenzie kissed her father’s best friend, Ace. After a few moments, Ace pushed Mackenzie away. That one kiss awakened something in both of them. Ace became obsessed with her and Mackenzie was sure that she only wanted Ace. Ace follows her around, telling himself that it is to ensure her safety but deep down, he knows the truth. Mackenzie does some things to get Ace’s attention. Both are afraid to tell Mackenzie’s dad. This book touched on some PTSD and depression topics and is handled wonderfully. I enjoyed how Ace and Mackenzie fit together so perfectly. This author does such an incredible job with this book! It is a definite must read!. Ace has been stalking Mackenzie for 4 years. Even tho Ace is her dads best friend he has loved Mackenzie for those years. What he doesn’t realize is that Mackenzie loves him too. She is doing everything in her power to make him notice her. It isn’t until she finally decides to go to club that Ace makes his move. But what happens when Mackenzie’s dad finds out. I enjoyed this fast paced steamy read. There’s a depth to the characters that I wasn’t expecting in this novella. I loved that. Excellent storytelling.
