Thoughts- Lord, this book was boring. Nothing much happened. When law enforcement got involved, I thought that at last, something interesting was coming, but nope. They just had to leave town for about ten minutes. I don’t even know why that bit was even in the book. I mean, it wasn’t horrible. It was just… not much. This book should not have been written; the information in it could have easily been condensed and used in the next book. Better yet, the trilogy should be cut down into a single volume or duet. This shows lazy writing and editing.

Sage and Mia’s continues in this where he is recouping from his kidnapping and torture and she tries to help him but he keeps pushing her away. When someone from his past comes back will he finally move on and show Mia what could be. A drama violent story with some twists thrown in to give you a little gasp.

Sage & Mia

3.5*
A continuation of Sage and Mia’s story that was kind of confusing and full of too much indecision in my opinion. There is suspense, tension, violence, angst, secrets, deception, confrontations, some steam, self reflection, unpleasant surprises and twists. Ends in a cliffhanger.
