  • North & Candy!!!

    By Really enjoyed this
Fake relationships are one of my favorite tropes! North’s ex is marrying his brother, who, by the way cheated on North while they were dating. An impossible situation right. North’s parents do not see anything wrong with any of this and basically blackmail him by saying that his grandparents are getting old and who knows when they’ll see them again. North’s friend has a solution - work out a deal with someone to go as his fake date to the wedding with him. Candy is a librarian and North asks her for some help. Agreeing to help Candy does as he asks but the potential for more is there. What kind of a relationship will this evolve to?. • Taken by the Cowboy

A*R*C for honest review with no compensation Received by BookSprout 3.5 stars Taken by the Cowboy is book 1 in the Roping Her Curves by Kaci M Rose but was hard to keep reading. Though this started out to be a good story, is sure needed a proof reader to fix the grammar, plot missteps, missing words and such. Overall the fake relationship between Candy and North was a good read.

  • Family is Complicated and Not Pretty

His brother is marrying his ex. The cowboy lines up his own "girlfriend". The story is fun, the characters are playful and serious. This reader had moments of warm mental hugs and thoughts of head slaps. An enjoyable read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
