This piece is my truth, and I hope it motivates you, the reader, to find your voice and speak your truth to whomever you feel needs to hear it. Millennials, the change begins with you. There is no need to raise your children on survival if you were raised on survival. It completely defeats the purpose of growing through shit only to have your child experience your same shortcomings. They’re less likely to be a better version of you if you teach them how to endure and overcome struggle instead of completely avoiding it altogether. To the many men out in the world, stop ignoring the root of your problem, pick that hoe up and do the work. A mistake repeated more than once is a choice. Lastly, it takes a strong-minded man to care for a child or children that isn't his own, but if he does more for that child or children than his own biological, there is a unique common terminology that accurately defines his character(FN). If you think I'm describing materialistic purchases regarding doing for your children, you may want to read and dissect this book a few times.
