What a wonderful escape from reality! Well written, allowed me to get lost in the story. I couldn't wait between reading times to get back to the story.

Great summer novel. I felt like I was on the island. It's amazing what one can do when we put our mind to it.

I'm a foodie - a raw food chef. A photographer. A wanna-be author. I dabble with knitting. I got sucked into this book fast. And couldn't wait to return to my reading each time I had to set down my book. I loved the two main characters. Loved the depth of character developed by the author. And the twists in the story. Well done. I just bought a second book by this author. I may be on to some happy summer reading diversion here!

Captured in Salt Air is the timeless rhythm of community, the rhythm of the tides, priceless gifts of love, friendship, and the dichotomy of the power and fragility of life itself.

A summer romance delight. A great girlfriend getaway. Could go straight to a LifeTime movie. This is a fun, engaging book, even if a bit melodramatic. At times the descriptions are overwritten and the plot turns predictable, but for a quick escape book, this fits the bill.

Barbara is back! I loved this story, it was better than her last couple of books. The story was perfect in that it drew me in and developed slowly. I couldn't put it down and that always says great!

Loved it!!! As all of her books yes there is turmoil she writes so well about problems we all face, illness, betrayal yet there is also forgiveness and redemption. You can smell the gardens and feel the ocean you feel as you are there on the island in Maine don't miss it
