Col. Beckworth's career as Delta Force developer/commander is most remarkable. This is a very well written account on his career which included the hostage rescue attempt in American Embassy in Iran. The book gives the feel that Col Beckworth is in the room explaining everything to you.

If you have a love of the special forces of the US, then this book is a must read. After watching the tv show "The Unit", I was motivated to look for a book that documented the start of Delta Force. This book covers all you need to know!
