Three times the awesome
By CrazyElf
This book is the third installment of the GFL series. The excitement ramps up as the long off-season provides new opportunities. Can Quentin and company make it to the playoffs this time? Can they get a GFL tier-one championship? Will Quentin's unusual taste in players cause the team to splinter apart?
I really like the dynamics in this book. Quentin is settling down. Characters who had a really tough season in the Starter come back rested and in much better spirits. This books has hints that an even larger story is looming in the second half of the series. A warning: this book ends a a true cliff-hanger. Luckily you no longer have to wait for the sequel since as of this review the next book, The MVP, is already available.

Fun

Like the prequels, this book is a fun read. Continuous excitement and marvelous story telling. The one really weird thing was the number of typos. Astounding really. I've noticed this trend in ebooks in general. What's up with that. Did the spell checker malfunction? Examples throughout this book "he droped back to pass" , "re roled to his left". Shameful really.
Sigler scores a TD
By Sc00byD0nt
In the third installment of the GFL series we see the Krakens continue their quest for a GFL title. Sigler introduces some new characters and expands upon those introduced in The Starter. This book definitely places much emphasis on the off-field stories as the on-field ones. Quentin, the Tweedy brothers, and all your favorite Ki are a part of the action. Chances are if you are reading this, you will probably want to go ahead and get this book. If you have not read any of the GFL books yet, then what are you waiting for? Go get The Rookie, The Starter, and this book, too!
