Wow! What a terrific book! This was so well written, so captivating, so thrilling! Loved the relatable characters, the tantalizing plot, the wild adventure and the delightful dénouement! There were some laugh-out-loud funny moments sprinkled throughout, too. Great book!

Ever since I happened across her first book, I've been reading every one I can find at the library. I love her books and Prey is no exception. The crime/mystery and romance combo are great and the characters, even secondary ones are well developed.

A little repetitive, but overall an easy read with a good story line

This book is pretty on-track with the quality of writing and plot-line that I love Linda Howard for. I enjoyed the more adventurous side of this book and was appreciative of the toned down quantity of intimacy between the characters. The only part that I have a slight issue with was the fact that the insight into the antagonist was a bit lengthy... I got a bit bored and antsy reading those parts. Great book, highly recommend it!!

Absolutely loved this story! The suspense of the hunt and the sexual tension between the main characters made the book hard to put down.

As a huge fan of Linda Howard and having read all of her books many times, I'd have to guess that this a much earlier work that has been dusted off and published. Descriptions are repetitive beyond belief, mediocre exposition runs RAMPANT and the development between the main characters was virtually non-existent. Much like with her other recent releases, very disappointed and disheartened when a trusted author puts out this product.

Fantastic! Keeps you right with it until the very end. Been reading Linda Howard's books for along time. Haven't read a bad one yet.

Good but way too wordy....better with less filler words

I usually love Linda's books but this one was disappointing. The characters and chemistry were great but the plot was not up to Linda's standards.
