Literally couldn’t finish this read. Have loved some of her other stuff but this was awful

Books 2 and 3 in this series are much better! Trust me, start with book 2 the rest of the series is Really good.

Wow what a story!! I really enjoyed it. Humor and tears. A little bit more sexually graphic than I care for but I skipped those pages and it was still a good story.

Maya Banks did amazing job with this novel. With this series in fact. I’m on the last book of the series now. But enough of that. In Bed With A Highlander was a great read. I loved the feud, or would you call it war between the clans. That continues in all three books. I might add. And the romance going on in this one. And the next two.

A little pricey but one of the best Scottish romances I’ve read and I’ve read a lot since Scottish romances are my favorite. Only ones I’ve liked better are glynnis Campbells.

This book was just a good read. Everything about it was enjoyable and the characters are just so lovable. Could read it 100 times and still love it!

Maya Banks, again, has written a wonderful story. The love story between Ewen and Mairin is wonderful and steamy. The loyalty of his clan to him and and their mistress is remarkable even in the face of deceit. The character development was done well. I loved this story and never wanted it to end.

This book is just good, hence the 3 stars. There are very cute moments, very sexy moments, and very exciting moments. But between those moments are full, lazy writing. The main characters are also kind of dull. It seems like the author wanted to make the female protagonist kind of feisty and stubborn, but she ended up being portrayed as juvenile and quirky, which is cute!! but not really what this story needed. However, i am very excited for the next book in the series. Alaric was actually my favorite of all the characters in this book, so I’m so glad to read what happens with him! From what i’ve seen, it looks so good!
