i liked the descriptions of maple syrup making in the Northeast; Its a business i knew nothing about before except using it on pancakes. Also what the character Poppy had to go thru as a paraplegic was enlightening-i just didn’t know how courageous you would have to become to live that life. But all the rest of the story about a court case and a woman living a hidden life was so long, drawn out & repetitive that im not too sure why i finished it…

One of her best. A unique plot line with strong female characters revealed slowly, that gave me pause and made me think.

This book was excellent. I had a hard time putting it down, it is a great easy read.
