I didn’t finish this book. I couldn’t. It was so out there, just so in unrealistic I gave up on page 172. It wasn’t for me. I’m not saying don’t read it. I couldn’t.

She stole from him. How is she any different from her ex-husband? She’s not! And why on earth would a supposedly “smart” woman stay in the same small town and work at the same club she was once a member of? Just stupid.

A beautiful Love Story that kept me reading till the end.

It was good. Good writing. Just not my cup of tea- story line is all.

These 2 older adults, Brittney and Trent are quite established in their careers and life in general but are they? They think so until they meet each other! Trent and Brittney are both workaholics with little time for pleasure. Neither one thought they needed more until they made a pac to allow Brittney to get her friends off her back because she never even dated. Along comes Trent to the rescue. They develop a fake romance for Brittney to share with her friends. Soon it becomes more but they both have secrets. Will they be able to over come these secrets? It’s so refreshing to read about more mature adults that have love lives too. I loved this book and cannot wait for the next book in the series!!

What a different kind of second chance romance! What I loved about this book was these two people didn’t have some huge falling out so the journey back to each other is more about the outside conflict than the inside one. Phillip and Abby could have had something great if they both had been a little braver when they were younger but now that they are older, they have the chance to overcome all the challenges in their lives. I’m excited to see where this series goes next and get to know this group of friends better.

Her so called friends now treat her as though she has the plague, but she tolerates it so that she can afford to attend college and complete her degree. When the opportunity presents itself, Abby does something she never thought she’d do….caught in the act, she now has to right her wrongs. Phillip has one regret in his life—walking away from “the one” without a fight. Now, he’s proven himself and become a wealthy businessman. When he sees Abby in the golf shop of the country club, he devises a plan to help her get a little revenge on her “friends”. Although he’s heard that Abby’s fallen on hard times, he can’t believe she’d resort to stealing from him. So, he offers her a way out… Even though second chance romance really isn’t my favorite genre, I really enjoyed Abby and Phillip’s story. Misunderstandings in the past led to their breakup, but also made them the strong people they are today. I love that they are an older couple! I also enjoyed their witty banter. What starts out as an indecent proposal, turns out to be so much more!!! Loved it and recommend adding it to your TBR shelf. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

This was a fun, easy-to-read, steamy book with a HEA ending. At times the focus on the main characters insecurities was somewhat repetitious but that seemed to diminish as the story continued. The book highlights the meaning of true friends and how how fulfilling second chances can be! ;-) Go for it!

New series! Love the heat and the story line!! So excited to read more and definitely loved the story of Abigail and Philip ! A must buy.

I always get excited when a favorite Author has a new book and it starts a series. Elena Aitken’s, FINALLY YOURS, is full of surprises, along with touches of humor. Abby and Philip are characters that are over 40 with charming personalities. Abby has gone from riches to rags because of an ex-husband. Philip is wealthy with a proposition that Abby can’t refuse. This is a second chance romance, I loved and highly recommend! Looking forward to the next book in the new series.
