I’ve read with interest the various biographies written about Silicon Valley entrepreneurs - Walter Isaacson's Steve Jobs set the standard. It told the good, the bad, and the ugly, an unbiased story of a very gifted man. So I purchased this book hoping to understand more about the mysterious Peter Thiel. I was disappointed to instead find myself reading a hack job by a liberal author bent on attacking Mr Thiel’s conservative values. Granted, Peter Thiel is no saint, but the narrative is so continuously negative that you come away wondering how the man could brush his own teeth, let alone create a thriving empire. Come on Mr. Chafkin, put your personal opinions aside and tell us an honest story. A waste of money…
