Dungeon Master is the first book in the Dungeons and Doms series. Leah and Gavin have spent the last ten years still scening with each other, still in love with each other, but divorced and living separate lives. Gavin has decided enough is enough and he’s determined to woo his woman back to his side again, but can they let go of their past and build a new future together again with a second chance at love, or will their past be too much to overcome? I have to admit that second chance romances are not always my favorite books to read, but I really enjoyed reading this book! I loved the dynamic between Leah and Gavin, I loved how each of them wanted more but were a little afraid, and I honestly loved how original this book felt. Reading about an older couple was fresh, knowing that not all happily ever afters are easy after saying “I do” is a theme we don’t always read about, and I liked the unique struggles this couple faced as they built a new relationship on the foundation that was previously formed, in and out of the club. Leah was the one to really protect her heart - she wanted to give in to everything Gavin had to offer, but really felt too burnt after everything she experienced with him previously. It was challenging for her to give up the hurts from their past. Gavin was patient, willing to change, and willing to show his vulnerabilities in ways he never had before. They both made mistakes, and they both learned from them, too. I enjoyed this book. I liked how well things set up the next book. I know I’ll be reading more from this author and from this series!

I love Gavin and Lea’s story. A second chance later in life story of realizing what gives you pleasure and that communication is a give and take process. Both people can be at fault without really knowing how. Great book Golden Angel! Looking forward to reading Esther and Jax’s story ..

Absolutely loved Gavin and Leah. Loved that they were an older couple who was divorced, but still scenes together at Outlands and had feelings for each other still. Counseling helped them sort through their past issues and begin another chapter of their life together. The cover of this book with Kevin R Davis, model, is so perfect. When reading this, I totally pictured him as Gavin. I am really looking forward to the rest of the books in this series. I can’t wait to hear about the other characters. I hope that more C&c (d&d) is included in the other books. I loved the dog and need to have more. Great start of a new series!

Gavin and Leah’s story had me hooked. Although I love the characters from Stonghold & Marquis I love that we get to meet an older group of friends. The challenges Gavin & Leah face from a failed marriage to trying again over a decade later gives you all the feels. All the characters are well developed and intriguing. Golden Angel has once again created a wonderful experience with Dungeon Master and I can’t wait for the next book in the Dungeon and Doms series!

A wonderful tale about a couple who are a little older than the normal couple in romances. Gavin is the Dungeon Master and he still holds a flame for his ex, Leah. He was blindsided by the divorce, but they've been meeting for scenes. Ironically Gavin and Leah have the bondage buddies relationship that his son Mitch wanted in Golden Angel's previously released Bondage Buddies book. Gavin has decided to declare his intention to win her back on the night she has her first date with someone else. But that's no deterrent for Gavin. He's got to fight Leah's uncertainty that he's really changed. He's giving everything she had wanted prior to the divorce, but will he keep it up if he wins her back and break her heart again? A wonderful story of an older couple. Wise to relationships, one still trying to protect her heart, the other trying to put himself out there and win her back. Another winner from Golden Angel, first in a series and absolutely a great read

Dungeon Master was a seriously hot and charmingly heartfelt beginning to Dungeons and Doms. After meeting Master Gavin in a few of Golden Angels books, it was amazing to get his story and it did not disappoint! Gavin and Leah for being a new story felt like putting on your favorite shirt. The heart ache and challenges they faced were incredibly relatable but the path to a second chance was filled growth, self awareness and most of all love. Greatly looking forward to seeing them (and the game dog) pop up in the next Dungeon and Doms stories...and maybe a few other stories as well.

There are so many things that I loved about Gavin and Leah’s story. One of the main things is that they are in their 50s. In fact, Leah is my age. And, before I get into the rest of the book, let’s just say that any book that can slide in an Archer reference, gets five stars!!! Gavin (a hot transplanted Scot in a kilt) and Leah are in their 50’s and have been divorced for 10 years. Being divorced hasn’t prevented them scening at the Outlands, the kink club Gavin owns. Leah is FINALLY ready to move forward with her life and start dating other men when Gavin shows up at her door saying he wants her back. Not only is Leah disbelieving, but their group of friends can’t quite believe it either. Gavin has to prove to Leah that he really has changed and I feel he really shows his vulnerability to her. The scenes in the club are beyond hot. Following Leah as she try to figure out whether she can trust Gavin beyond scening in the club is heart wrenching at times, but very worth it. I’m looking forward to the rest of the books in this series. And, for those interested, Gavin and Leah’s son, Mitch, is the Dom in Bondage Buddies. Anything by Golden Angel is an automatic buy at this point.
