Exciting, but certainly not a stand alone book. Now I just have to find out how Posiden gets out of this situation and contains his self loathing long enough to let himself love Ashley.

This story was not what I expected! It’s dark and gritty and H O T💥🔥 warning: violence! If you don’t like mafia type books, this is not for you. If you like suspense and evil alpha hopefully turning good…this is for U! This first book was free, but it got me hooked. I have to get the other 2 to complete Ashely’s “ordeal” with Poseidon. ❤️

I understand box that mix reality and fantasy but I have no idea what’s going on with this book. It’s so strange. Not bad…just different. The writer does a great job sucking you in and giving you a clear picture of the scene. I just never had a clear picture of what was going on with Poseidon. Also how cruel he sounds in regards to his crew. I’m assuming subsequent books would enlighten me.

I have been wanting Poseidon since meeting him in Hades’ trilogy and Amelia exceeded my expectations with him. Poseidon and Hades have always been my favorites of the Greek Gods and it’s no different with these books. Poseidon is all alpha an an a** to boot. Ashley is a rich girl, but she is sweet and also tenacious. When Poseidon “rescues” her, she feels safe until she finds out his true intentions. Poseidon claims to have only one true love, the sea, but Ashley is weaving her way to his heart. Will he end up pushing her too far and lose her before he realizes the gem he has found in her? Amelia has once again hooked me with her third God. She has weaved a story so gripping and exciting. She has made me want to yell at Poseidon while simultaneously wanting to jump him. Another great start to another trilogy. I am so ready for A Deal With the Devil. Bring it on!!

Wowwwwww! I think this is my first Amelia Wilde! Sooooo good! Poseidon and Ashley. Ashley has a loser of a boyfriend. Who gets her in a situation. A situation she needs saving from! Enter a set of pirates led by Poseidon!!!! So good!! Cannot wait for the next one! Loved it!

Stunning! I was captivated right from the start with the swoon-worthy captain of the sea and his beautiful captive, Ashley. Poseidon is mesmerizing as the modern-day pirate in charge of his surroundings and the sea. There's a mystery surrounding his hunt for an elusive treasure. I loved his relationship with water and this author's brilliant portrayal of a god in his element. He's part lover and part brute but always hard. Ashley is the socialite beauty Poseidon saves after a horrifying incident finds her afloat in the sea. She's fascinating as the rich girl out of her element and falling for the gruff pirate and his seducing ways, but she's no fool. She knows he's after a big payday for her ransom. Their passion is hot but it's not enough for Ashley to play it safe. I think there's more to her than just her pretty ways. She's shows that she has some skills and I think there's more to her than just surface appearance. There's danger at every turn and Ashley is the cause and effect. She's worth a mint and more than just Poseidon wants to cash in. After she puts him and his crew in jeopardy his punishment is harsh and unforgivable. There is panty melting lust between the fierce pirate and his captive but is it enough to overcome her betrayal and his response? The romance is steamy along with heart pounding suspense and danger on the high seas. The cliffhanger ending left me biting my nails as the threat is real and our couple is in peril. Will they make it through? I can't wait for the next installment in this terrific god-of-the-seas romance. A must read!

Blown away!! I’ve been not-so-patiently waiting on Poseidon’s story and it was everything I thought it would be! Thrilling, exciting, hair-raising, and he made me laugh (go figure). I’ve got it bad for this pirate, his daringness, his intenseness, his hotness 🔥🔥🔥 Sizzled my kindle and I just want more!! That ending left me gasping, and wanting desperately to know what happens next!!! The sign of something you must have!! I cannot wait to find out what happens next!!!
