As a manga artist from ohio, I have not only been creating mini manga but also studying the craft seriously. This manga in particular is a great mix of comedy, real life elements. I enjoyed the characters and little introductions as well. This will serve my manga “Brave Soul” well!

A bit too much “service,” but otherwise good characters and great art. Gets a bit technical, but I think that is part of the charm. The Japanese voice actors in the anime version really match the manga. The story is fun and engaging.

I really enjoyed reading the 1st volume it gives a great connection between these two characters and I can’t wait to read the rest.

I wasn’t sure about this title before I read it. I’m a documentary film maker, and have seen a couple different shows about cosplay culture that were average at best. This manga, for me, captures what I think the documentaries were unable to express: the innocent and quite pure love and affection devoted to the process itself. Often cosplay is depicted as lurid and sort of sleazy, but this story, even when using an ero character backdrop to provide rom-com gag interactions, avoids that stereotype and pitfall (while diving into it headfirst, ironically). Really cute.
