A very interesting book from many views with unexpected plot twists. It was hard to put down once I started reading it.

Captivating mystery with several plot turns! Very cleverly written.

I was so bored with the main character thinking of food, describing food, eating food, looking for food, blaming food or lack of eating for her idiocy. This is of the most self centered characters ever. At the age of 60 she should have developed more mechanisms for her neurological issues. most people do. while unusual it is not uncommon and takes many forms. it does not cause the lack of foresight and planning of this pathetic character.

I almost passed on this book. Glad I didn’t. Had me hooked till the end.

Interesting story, and setting.

I’m not quite halfway through and I had to stop to write a review. I read a lot, I’ve read other books by this author and a lot of mysteries, and Déjà Dead is one of the best in a while. I really can’t describe much—I want to encourage others to read without spoiling. My attention was caught from the get-go and no less that three times has my jaw dropped in surprise. I appreciate the author uses some French, minimal translation, without interrupting the flow of the novel. J’ai étudié a long time ago and don’t remember as much as I like.

I enjoyed this book, as it kept me guessing! Highly recommend...
