Spoiler Alert I loved the book and was totally into the story until the very end. I hate that he caved to her dad, put the land and his brother in front of her and then when she talked about it to her friend the friend says - ya, that’s just how these guys are, super prideful, if you want to get back with him it is 100% on you. She even talked about how he couldn’t tell her the truth and was upset about coming in last place in his life. He never even apologized to her for treating her like that. He just explained why she came last and then she apologized for her behavior. What?!? I absolutely hated the ending!!! I can’t believe I invested so much into a character who ended up being a total loser who is not good enough to deserve the girl in the end. What a waste!!!!

The dialogue is so stilted that I couldn’t make it past the first two chapters.
