I don’t know why I keep buying her books- the last 3-4 she just seems to rush through parts of the books. It makes the story clumsy if that makes sense. I have no interest in the other books that are part of this series the men are hard to warm up to.

Laura Holiday is an independent, single mother who has given up on romance and love. Tired of being seen as “just a good time” or being lied to by the men she’s had in her life, she’s determined to rely only on herself. She enjoys working with her partner, Russ, but they get along so well that that’s how she wants things to stay. Ever mind the draw she feels towards him. Russ not so much. He definitely wants to have a deeper relationship with Laura, but he’s determined not to spook her. Great chemistry between the two main characters, Christmas and a snow storm—all make for a highly enjoyable romance.
