I read the first book in the series and I was looking forward to Beck and Maisie’s story. It was worth the wait so of course I will be reading the rest of the series. I have read several of J H Croix books and I love them. Until next time y’all happy reading.

This was an overdrawn book, extending way too much. The plot is too simple for the length of the book, there wasn’t enough progress made. The book didn’t move at a good pace! I got bored around halfway through because the characters were flat and predictable! The girl was boring, she just always ran away after they slept together. The guy would always chase her. Yet, they didn’t get together for the longest time.

I like him “but” kind of story and proof the strong willed do persevere. Good story, intertwines a bit with the previous book and continues stories started in book one and story for the next book, but if you didn’t read book one, it doesn’t interfere, good job in the authors part. HEA, no cliffhanger, hope you read, you will enjoy this writer’s style!
