Octavius Winslow was one of the leading evangelical preachers in England during the 19th century. Winslow was a contemporary of other great Christian preachers including Charles Spurgeon and J.C. Ryle and he was also a well-respected author.
Evening Thoughts, published in 1858, provides nightly devotions for every day of the year. The book should be used in supplement to Winslow's Morning Thoughts.
