What a great book to start the new Boston Mafia series! From the first page to the last is a edge of the seat page turner! You can’t help but love Bridget and Nolan . Bridget gave up Nolan for money to help with her brothers medical care and Nolan thought she didn’t love him. Nolan finds out Bridget and his best friend Tim are in the middle of the Irish Mafia and the new syndicate and wants to help protect them. The chemistry between the characters is wonderful. This book is a great read and I can’t wait to read the next installment! Highly recommend!

Thicker Than Water is the about the Boston Synidicate takeover. It introduces us to Nolan & Bridget. Nolan used to work for the old Syndicate but got out. His. Best friend Will is working for Seamus O’Brien who is running Boston now. Nolan’s ex girlfriend Bridget also works for Seamus. The new Syndicate is going to take over but needs Nolan’s help. This book is another great read by Michelle St. James. Can’t wait for the next book!

Thicker Than Water introduces us to Nolan Burke, who is approached by the Syndicate to help with the takeover of the Boston territory. He reluctantly does so in order to protect his ex-girlfriend, Bridget, the love of his life, and his best friend Will, both of whom work for Seamus O’Brien, the present boss of the territory. In order to do this, Nolan has to rejoin the mob that he left years before to pursue his law career. This first book brings us everything that we have come to expect from Michelle St. James.

Now the Syndicate has their eyes set on Boston. Seamus O’Brien has been running it, and is given the option of fall in line, or be taken over. Nolan Burke is asked to help take Seamus down. He does in order to help his best friend Will, and ex, whom he still loves, Bridget. Bridget is torn between her love for Nolan, and guilt for leaving him in order to help her sick brother. Another excellent job by Michelle for introducing us to new characters in her Mob world to fall in love with, and giving us more of the men we have already fallen in love with. Can’t wait for the conclusion!
