Description

Sasha McCandless-Connelly has a finely honed sense of right and wrong--and a long memory. The handful of grudges she's nursing has started to cause problems at work and at home. When an old adversary and an old ally both come back into the picture, she'll learn whether she has the capacity to forgive and forget. It's a task that just might prove harder than bringing down killers, running a law firm, or parenting twins.
Note from Melissa: This novella (approximately 75 printed pages) provides a glimpse into Sasha’s personal life for readers who just can’t get enough Sasha and Connelly. The next full-length Sasha McCandless legal thriller will be available in 2018.

Once again Sasha takes the bull by the horns and manipulate's her prey. Great to see Bhodi return and get his own series. Can't wait to read The Path Series. Plus another dose of Aroostine will be great to see in the near future. Would love to see at least 1 book with all 3 main characters involved.

THE HUMBLE SALVE by Melissa Miller A Sasha McCandless novella Sasha and her husband are at odds over what he did and how the genetic lottery had played out for him. He wanted connections and now with the twins, he wanted that for them. Her protective maternal nature didn't agree. Now reliving the nightmares, because the parole board wants a statement now. As though that wasn't enough for her to deal with, she's uneasy about making her friend Naya a partner. This was a good story, showing the emotions and personal side of Sasha. Loved knowing more about the people in Sasha's and Leo's lives. With the added chuckles of the twins, breaking all the rules when with their grandpa. All of her books, I enjoy, with the new being even better. Readers will enjoy this story by it self, or part of the series, you won't be disappointed.
