Very nice story with a sane relationship between the major characters and great kids and good plot. Too much explicit sex. It’s just not needed and takes the rating down.

Wonderful second chance story.

Caleb has taken on raising his siblings and overseeing the running of the family ranch, a job he got when his parents were killed in an accident. He married a cold, distant woman. He has two daughters from the marriage, and the cold woman left him. But that’s a good thing when we learn of the negative, non-loving way she handled the daughters. Enter Tamara, who would make for a great nanny and who was highly recommended by Caleb’s sister. Tamara had been a nurse and was looking for work. Suffice it to say that these 4 people had a whole lot of baggage to unpack before their lives could settle. Fortunately, Tamara ‘s experiences helped all of them find their footing. Read their story and see how they all come together in a beautiful and loving way. You’ll be glad you did.

Story and writing style are great. As a former horse person, I would have liked more horse/ranch life description.

Ms. Arend characters come alive as we fall in love with them. Her story lines are heart warming and believable. I hate finishing a book. I want to know what’s going to happen next……so I pick up the next story and I’m never disappointed.

I loved, loved the characters in this book! The family dynamics were the true meaning of family! Look forward to the next book in this series!
