As with all of Peggy's books, this one will not let you down. Her characters have a lot of depth and she spins a great tale.

Out of many burdens Shane faced, he had not expected to fall for the girl he barely noticed in HS —Alley. At a memorial for a beloved teacher, they reminisce the a wisdom as he touched many lives. Alley is highly educated and hasn’t visited her childhood home now occupied by her grandfather and Shane manages and lives in the ranch next door. The ranch was up for sale as Alley returns home and Shane plans on offering a good price, but she doesn’t want her grandfather to sell. Some suspense, romance, family loyalties come into play and all revealed in this wonderful story.

Could not put book down. Peggy L Henderson has a way of transporting the reader into the story. I was there, immersed in the lives of Shane and Alley. This book is perfect if the reader wishes to escape for awhile and relax with a great story about fate, family, love in the West. Highly recommend and look forward to the next book.
