I have read several series/novels from this author and shes always a good choice in the apple library. This story is sweet, but very shallow compared to some others shes written. The dialogue is very poor, the little girls’ vocabulary and lisps are inconsistent, and I found myself skimming sections. A fine read for the price but I wouldnt read it again

I the idea was good but the situations in the the story were ridiculous. I couldn’t get through it. I also had an idea that it was about to get tacky.

It really warms my heart! Love is ubiquitous. The love for children regardless of color or race, is humane. Love the story very much!😊👍

Absolutely loved it. The mystery of what happened to the baby Corey; the mystery of what the Chinese wife did; and why was Ruby, the Chinese foster daughter, so angry? All this kept me reading for hours. Up all night finishing the book. It’s the best story I’ve read in along time.
