I’ve definitely been looking forward to this book since we met Crystal Moon and Bear Whiskey in Tru Blue. I loved Crystal’s character but had a feeling she was hiding something, and we find out so much about what makes her who she is and it’s heartbreaking. Bear has been into Crystal for a while now and while they’re friends and flirting up a storm, Crystal is nowhere near ready for a relationship with Bear and underneath Bear has an idea of something being up with her but doesn’t know what. I loved when they went out and shared the milk shake and fries, that was flirtation at it’s best. Unfortunately, things come to a head and Bear thinks he has lost Crystal. She ultimately texts him to say she’s needed some time and is in a meeting but Bear being Bear just heads over to where she is and ends up meeting a friend of hers who has been helping Crystal deal with recent events and her feelings for Bear. Crystal finally tells Bear about her past and that she is most definitely into him but she’s not ready for full speed ahead just yet. I totally loved and appreciated how Bear was so respectful and supportive of her and how he asked permission instead of just taking, which was huge for him. I liked being there to watch them test the waters of being more than friends and also seeing Crystal come more into her own especially after sharing her past with Bear and also with Gemma, her business partner, since she hadn’t been truthful with her either. Just when everything seems to be coming together for the two of them, she runs into her past and what started her downward spiral years earlier. However, this Crystal, with the support of Bear and his family and her friends, is stronger and is willing to make sure the person pays for what he did to her years ago. The ending with the event and everyone was so perfect and the way they couldn’t hide their feelings any longer and kind of hijacked (in a good way) the event, and everyone was happy with the outcome. Great book.

Truly, Madly, Whiskey is such a fun read. Crystal is such a sassy heroine and Bear is such an alpha male with a sweet heart. Especially for Crystal. The banter is off the charts and Bear and Crystal are so perfect for each other. Definitely a must read.

It’s time for some Sunshine and Whiskey… Bear aka Robert Whiskey comes off as a powerful alpha, but he has a heart of gold for the ones he loves. Bear had from the beginning knew that Crystal Moon was his; now all he had to do is convince the fiery tempered woman. Bear has some heavy decisions to make torn between family and his first love will he make the right decisions? Crystal Moon is as tough as she wants others to see, but there is a part of her that will never forget her past , but she is determined to try. After her fathers death Crystal struck out on her own. The only bright days were when she was working with Gemma creating or with Bear, but she would never tell him that. From the first time I met Bear and Crystal their chemistry floated off the pages what I didn’t expect was the rawness of their emotions, it ran deep and oh so powerful. There was not one moment I did not enjoy their witty and often funny banter. They cracked me up. Then as I have said there is the serious side too both characters, the heart of them if you will. Bear loves his family and Crystal deeply. He is battling within himself. Crystal struggles with the story of her past and dealing with her not so nice mother. Could she trust the people who matter the most to her with her secret? I on occasion find a song that matches a certain book. My song for Crystal is without a doubt, Lauren Daigle’s song You Say it captures the true meaning of what she is learning of what is inside her. The supporting characters are from book #1 “Tru Blue” Tru, Jemma, the Whiskey’s and Link, Kennedy (Tru’s siblings). All making a wonderful appearance. Added to them is Jed(Crystal’s brother) and Crystal’s Mom even though I took a dislike to her I know she is who drove Crystal to be a better person, nothing like her mom. The plot is penned by the amazing talents of Melissa Foster that we come to enjoy. When you think of romances with hot sexy alphas, with strong powerful heroines, with scenes that will scorch you as well as melt you from the inside out you will think of Melissa Foster’s book Truly, Madly, Whiskey. The narration was engaging and the characters were distinct. I enjoyed Paul Woodson who quickly drew me into the book and made me feel as though I was one of the characters. If you enjoy listening to audio books and want a fun, sexy read with an emotional pull, then pick up a copy of Truly, Madly, Whiskey, written by Melissa Foster and narrated by Paul Woodson. I am off to book #3 in the Whiskey Series. Rated 5 Stilettos and a Recommended Read by Deb!

One wouldn’t think a big bad biker with the name of Bear would be such a softie – a teddy bear – but that is exactly what you have in this book. Bear Whiskey comes from a large family with deep ties to a motorcycle club. He might be intimidating to some but his heart melts for Crystal Moon and he has been stealthily courting her for 8 months until he finally makes his move. Crystal puts on a tough act – even her best friend doesn’t know that she makes up the guys and the dates she says she goes on. Crystal had a tough time growing up which culminated in a horrific experience in college that sent her fleeing and avoiding relationships. However, she trusts Bear and slowly allows him into her heart and trusts him with her secrets. Bear has to learn that he can’t protect everyone he loves from experiences in the past. Together they are an amazing couple and I loved reading about them. I can’t wait to read about the rest of the Whiskey siblings!

5 great big HUGE stars for Bear and Crystal's fantastic story by Melissa Foster! This story was FREAKING GREAT! Crystal has been interested in Bear Whiskey for MONTHS, and he has never hidden his attraction to her, even though she has always kept him at an arms length. She has a difficult past, one that I would never wish on anyone to endure, but Bear continuously shows her that he can help her be strong every single day they are together. This book was an absolute joy to read, and a great addition to the series!

This was a cute book. Crystal has a past and Bear wants to protect her, he has spent the last eight months chasing her! The chemistry is off the charts so it was explosive when they came together.
