The story of Cora and her sisters is so realistic and so detailed that the reader can be forgiven, if they forget that it is fiction. I look forward to reading more from this amazing author. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Western fiction.

The characters were fantastic and the story was beautiful and interesting. I enjoyed reading this story and the characters were genuine. I loved their need to survive and support each other. I enjoyed learning about the struggles of our ancestors.

Good story line and not predictable. So many personalities!

Sweet story. Like able characters.

A nice easy read for a rainy or snowy day. The author makes the main characters believable and authentic. Their journey to true love and a new home were a joy to read!! Tubby

True to form, this story is an amazing romance. The heroine is strong woman, hurt from betrayals past, and the hero somehow gets this from the beginning. The heat between them is always there, and their married moments are just right without causing undue blushing. Thank you Ms. Henderson for a beautiful read.

This was my second read. It was just as good as the first time.
