This is the last book in the series and the first one I have read. Now this is the way a good author writes a great series! While reading "I Kissed A Rogue", I did not feel as if there were pieces of the story missing because I had not read previous books. I enjoy a great Regency Historical Romance and Shana Galen delivered that in her wonderful writing of the characters. Brook, unable to get over old wounds, shows just how much of a rogue he can be but still be a hero. Lila, on the other hand was such a fun character and snob, she made me laugh at some of her antics. I highly recommend this read if you love a great fun historical romance. Lila once was a spoiled ton diamond who cared only for herself, but now she’s changed and wants to find a place of her own where she can find peace. She never expected to need Brook and she certainly never planned to fall in love with him, especially now that he kind of hates her…or does he? Galen is getting better with every book as she seamlessly creates stories full of wit, intrigue, and heart. I can’t wait to see what she does next…maybe a novella for a certain valet ;)
